Cool Sounds – BUG0BEAT (June 2024)

Cool Sounds is the key project of Australian pop polymath Dainis Lacey, with a live band that sees up to six musicians crowded onstage. Across five albums to date, Cool Sounds' shapeshifting indie rock has given nods to 80s pop, cheerful funk, and alt-country. Their latest album, Like That (Chapter Music), and follow up EP, BUG0BEAT (Chapter Music), delve into a world of oddball funk-damaged pop.
